Instrumentation

Instrumentation is the cornerstone of my profession. As a dental hygienist, it is imperative that my instrumentation skills are as sharp as can be. After countless hours in the clinic, I’ve been able to hone in on and perfect my instrumentation. Along the way, difficulties in technique were presented, but were swiftly addressed with even more practice. Even though I may never be perfect in this aspect, I can get as close as I can possible be. This is a lifelong skills that will continuously be improved and perfected.

Local Anesthesia.

In the early segment of the dental hygiene program. I began learning how to administer local anesthesia. Along the way, technique challenges and nervousness came along. However, with countless amount of hours of practice and delivering on actual patients, I was able to gain a tremendous amount of confidence. Moving forward, I look forward to patients in need of anesthesia, since it is a privilege to deliver it.
